ONE DAY AT A TIME from the book « Come away My Beloved » Frances J. Roberts

O my child have you not known the way of the Lord and can you not trust Him now ? Nothing shall befall you but that which comes from His hand. No one shall set upon you to hurt you, for your God has built around a wall of fire. Be content with what each day brings, rejoicing in your God, for surely He shall deliver you. He is the One who has brought you here. His way is discernable to the eye of faith. His heart is surely your strong tower. In His affection you have security. In His love are your hope and your peace. Do not question and do not doubt. Each day holds some small joy that shall escape you if you are preoccupied with tomorrow. 

Nothing daunts your Father. Nothing can restore the past and nothing can bind the future, but today you may live in the full blessing of the Father's smile. Hold to His words for they are like a nail driven into solid wood. All else may seem shifting and transitory, but His Word is firm. It is a rock that shall not be moved. It is a firm place to stand. Do not walk in the path of human reason, and resist the pressures that would project you into conjectures about the future. Live one day at a time ! Simply striving to bring joy to your Father's heart is enough to keep occupied. For you know that He loves you, and you will find you peace as you rest in Him. (Matthew 6:34).

Un jour à la fois

O Mon Enfant, est-ce que tu ne connais pas le chemin du Seigneur et est-ce que tu peux lui faire confiance maintenant ? Rien ne peut arriver sinon que ce qui vient de sa main. Personne ne devrait t'atteindre car ton Dieu a construit une muraille de feu autour de toi. Sois content(e) avec ce que chaque jour apporte, te réjouissant en Dieu car certainement il te délivrera. Il est celui qui t'a amené ici. Ses voies sont discernables pour les yeux de la foi. Son cœur est une tour sûre. Dans son affection tu trouves la sécurité. Dans son amour, tu puises l'espérance et la paix. Ne pose pas de question et ne doute pas. Chaque jour apporte un peu de joie qui t'aidera à t'échapper si tu ne te préoccupes pas du lendemain.

Rien ne décourage ton Père. Rien ne peut restaurer le passé et rien ne peut lier l'avenir. Mais aujourd'hui tu peux vivre sous la pleine bénédiction du sourire du Père. Attaches-toi à sa parole. Elle est comme un clou planté dans du bois solide. Tout peut changer et être transitoire mais sa parole est ferme. C'est un rocher qui ne peut être déplacé. C'est une place ferme pour tenir. Ne marche pas dans les pas du raisonnement humain et résiste aux pressions qui pourraient te projeter et te forcer l'avenir. Vis un jour à la fois! Simplement en apportant la joie au cœur de ton Père te donne assez d'occupation. Parce que tu sais qu'il t'aime et tu trouveras la paix alors que tu te reposes en lui. (Matthieu 6:34).
